Raul Albiol Footballer Plays For Real Madrid
Raúl Albiol Tortajada (born 4 September 1985 in Vilamarxant, Valencian Community) is a Spanish footballer who currently plays for Real Madrid and the Spanish national team. His main asset is his versatility, as he can play as either a central defender or defensive midfielder.

A product of the Valencia youth system, Albiol has presented Spain since the youth levels and was in the squad that won the Euro 2008. He comes from a footballing family; his father was a retired player and his brother plays in the second division.

On 25 June 2009, Albiol joined Real Madrid CF, on a fee thought to be in the region of €15 million,[3] becoming the first Spanish player signed by Florentino Pérez upon his return to presidency. On July 2, he was officially presented at Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, receiving the #18 jersey from Rubén de la Red, out for the season with unresolved heart problems. Albiol scored his first goal for Madrid in a Champions League match against Marseille in a match that ended 3-1 for the whites.
