Juan Silveira dos Santos, born 1 February 1979 in Rio de Janeiro), commonly known as Juan, is a Brazilian footballer, who currently plays as a central defender for Italian side Roma and the Brazilian national team.

Juan is part of the Brazil national football team, which played in the Copa América 2004 and theCopa América 2007, both of which Brazil won. He is widely considered to be one of the most consistent players on the Brazilian national team, with generally solid performances. He was also part of the Brazil squad, participating in the 2009 FIFA Confederations Cup.
