Andrea Poli (born 29 September 1989 in Vittorio Veneto) is an Italian footballer who plays as a midfielder for Serie B club Sampdoria. He started his career in Serie B with his native club Treviso. On 31 January 2007 he was signed by Serie A club Sampdoria in joint ownership, but immediately loaned back to Treviso until officially became a member of Sampdoria at the end of the season. On 4 November 2007 he made his Serie A debut in a 0-3 loss against Cagliari. In the 2007-08 season he was part of the Primavera (U-20) squad of Sampdoria that won the Campionato Primavera. In the 2008-09 season he was loaned out to the Serie B club Sassuolo in order to gain experience. Upon his return to Sampdoria in the summer of 2009 he became a key player of the side that ended 4th in the league. In 2011 he was part of the Sampdoria team that was relegated to Serie B after finishing 18th in Serie A in the 2010-11 season.

Stefano Mauri (born 8 January 1980 in Monza) is an Italian footballer who plays as a midfielder for Serie A club Lazio. An attacking midfielder/winger, his key attributes are dribbling and passing. He is predominantly left-footed but is also skilled with his right.

Mauri started his career at 16 years of age with Brugherio. Two years later he moved to Meda, where he spent three years between Serie C2 and Serie D. In 2001, he joined Modena, and in September 2002, he made his Serie A debut in a 3–0 loss to Milan. With the gialloblù, Mauri spent two good seasons before moving on to Brescia.

Andrea Ranocchia (born 16 February 1988) is an Italian footballer who plays as a defender for Serie A club Internazionale. Born in Assisi in the province of Perugia, Ranocchia started his career at Perugia then in Arezzo. Ranocchia played for Arezzo's Primavera team in 2005–06 season[1] and promoted to the first team in the following year. He played one season at Serie B and followed the team to play at Serie C1.

In August 2008, Genoa purchase half of the registration rights and sent him on loan to Bari, where he won the Serie B Championship. On 26 June 2009 Genoa have signed him outright. Emiliano Viviano (born 1 December 1985 in Florence) is an Italian footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Serie A club Bologna. He is a product of Fiorentina and Brescia youth teams. He started his career with a loan in Serie B at Cesena in the 2004-05 season. Then he spent 4 years as first choice goalkeeper in Serie B with Brescia.

Alessandro Matri (born 19 August 1984) is an Italian footballer who plays for Juventus in Serie A. He plays usually as a Forward. In the next season, Matri became the 3rd choice, as Jeda and Acquafresca netted more goals. But he also scored 6 goals in 31 matches, but only 11 of them as starter.

After the exit of Acquafresca, Matri became the starting pair along with Jeda, with new signing Nenê, the 2008–09 Portuguese Liga top-scorer, played as substitute. He is the team top-scorer, having scored 12 league goals, ahead Nenê (7 goals) and Jeda (6 goals). At the start of the 2010–11 Serie A season he was re-united with Acquafresca as he re-joined Cagliari. Antonio Floro Flores (born 18 June 1983) is an Italian footballer who plays as a striker for Udinese Calcio in Serie A. Floro Flores was born in Naples, and started his career at Napoli. He made his Serie A debut on 28 January 2001 against Roma. After six months on loan to Serie A Sampdoria, Floro Flores transferred to Perugia after the club had gone bankrupt. Massimo Maccarone Italian Footballer Plays

Massimo Maccarone (born September 6, 1979 in Galliate, Province of Novara) is an Italian association football striker currently playing for Palermo. He made headlines in March 2002 when he became the first Serie B player in twenty years to be picked for the Italian national side. He is nicknamed Big Mac.

Maccarone started his career at A.C. Milan youth system. On 1998, he went on loan to Modena, but did not make a single appearance. On 1999, he was transferred to Serie C2 team Prato (in co-ownership deal), scoring 20 goals in 28 league matches. In 2000, he was bought back by Milan and transferred to Empoli F.C., helping the club get promoted to Serie A during the 2001–02 season. In the same period, he was one of the most outstanding players of the Italian U21 team which reached the semi-finals in the 2002 UEFA European Under-21 Football Championship. As a result he was noticed by several teams, and was signed by English Premiership team Middlesbrough.

Despite these heroics, he made few appearances for Middlesbrough in the following season and in January 2007 Maccarone moved to Siena on a free transfer, signed a 3-year contract. In February 2007 he made headlines by criticizing former Middlesbrough and then England manager Steve McClaren for his "ineptitude", causing the English team's chairman Steve Gibson to call him "a fool".

On February 11, 2007 he played his first Serie A match after his Siena return against Cagliari Calcio. Maccarone scored a brace in the 4–3 defeat by AC Milan on February 17, to register his first goals for Siena. Riccardo Montolivo (born 18 January 1985 in Caravaggio, Province of Bergamo) is an Italian footballer who plays for Serie A club Fiorentina and the Italian national team. He was appointed club captain during the 2009–10 season despite his relatively young age. Montolivo is a prototypical "regista" (deep-lying playmaker), similar to Andrea Pirlo. Though he prefers to play in the middle, he can play anywhere including defensive midfield but is most comfortable in a more attacking role.

On 10 October 2006, Montolivo scored the winning goal when Italy beat Spain 2–1 and qualified for 2007 UEFA European Under-21 Football Championship. Mattia Cassani (born 26 August 1983) is an Italian footballer who plays as a defender for Serie A club Palermo. Cassani mainly plays at either left or right back and was brought in from Juventus although playing on loan in Hellas Verona, then in Serie B, during the 2006 summer transfer window, after impressing in Hellas Veronas teams, as replacement for the departed Fabio Grosso, being often featured also as right winger with the rosanero.
