Kim Kallstrom Best Midfielder Playing Footballer







Kim Källström (Swedish pronunciation: born 24 August 1982 in Sandviken) is a left-footed Swedish midfielder playing for the Swedish national team and Olympique Lyonnais. He has a powerful shot, which once knocked out his team-mate Andreas Isaksson during training prior to the 2006 World Cup. His nickname is Kongo-Kim. He is a box-to-box type of midfielder however, he has sometimes been fielded as a left winger. He is best known for his passing, although his crossing is very accurate, and left-footed long-range strikes.

Källström's first professional club in Sweden was BK Häcken from Gothenburg but his big breakthrough in Sweden came when he moved to Djurgårdens IF in 2002, where he won the Swedish Allsvenskan in 2002 and 2003 and svenskacupen"Swedish Cup" 2002. Scored twice in the UEFA Cup against Shamrock Rovers and FC Copenhagen. On May 26, 2006, he signed with French league champions Olympique Lyonnais, and helped them to capture their 6th straight league title, the following season.

Kim Kallstrom said he did not have plans to leave Lyon, and seeks to focus on helping the club won the Ligue 1 title. "My contract still remaining one and a half years," he told Expressen. "I'll finish. Right now I do not want to think about the future,"said Kallstrom.

Kallstrom displaced in the core team Lyon. There has been speculation he would leave the Stade de Gerland. He denied it, saying it would struggle to regain his place in midfield squad Claude Puel. Lyon is now in fourth position Ligue 1, having started the season poorly. Puel had rumored to be fired. "At first I was frustrated to face reality Lyon started the season poorly, and worse,"said Kallstrom. Ibrahim Afellay Footballer Playing PSV Eindhoven







Ibrahim Afellay (born 2 April 1986 in Utrecht) is a Dutch footballer of Moroccan descent (Rif region) playing for PSV Eindhoven in the Eredivisie. He has played for the Dutch national youth team and is now part of the senior Dutch national team, who he represented at the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa. He usually plays as the centre attacking midfielder for PSV Eindhoven but can also play at the right or left side due to his creative qualities. In 2007, Afellay was awarded the Johan Cruijff Award for "Young Player of the Year" in the Netherlands.

PSV Eindhoven officially proclaimed captain of the team, as well as the Dutch national team midfielder Ibrahim Afellay will not extend his contract which expires at the end of this season. In a statement on the club's official website, PSV says, "For many reasons, not realistic to extend the contract."

Afellay is believed to be leaving the club where he started his professional career in the January transfer window, after ensuring PSV Afellay agree not to leave the club without a transfer fee is quite large.
